A US Navy 30-Pounder Parrott Rifle overlooks Baltimore's Inner Harbor from Federal Hill Park
Overlooking Baltimore’s Inner Harbor from the heights of Federal Hill Park is a US Navy 30-Pounder Parrott Rifle (or 4.2-Inch Parrott Rifle) mounted on a pedestal. Corrosion prevents most of the markings on the tube from being read, and its position at the edge of a slope also prevented me from getting a look at the muzzle face. The view from beside the piece is scenic, however, with Sloop of War Constellation being visible across the harbor from the spot.
