A Brooke Smoothbore at Dutch Gap on the James River

A single Brooke Smoothbore overlooking the James River at Dutch Gap seems to be the subject of four stereoscopic photos. The same young man appears in all four and details about the cannon, its mounting, and the position of moveable items make me think these photos are indeed of the same cannon taken at the same time.
To my understanding, the taper of a 10-Inch Brooke begins behind the trunnions, while an 11-Inch Brooke doesn't begin to taper until forward of the trunnions (See drawings in Olmstead et al, pg. 130). This looks like a 10-Inch Brooke Smoothbore to me. What do you think?
